I think this was one of the hardest paintings I’ve ever done! This was a birthday present for Mike’s mom. The photo was taken at after one of Mike’s shows at the DC Improv (his whole family surprised him for his 30th birthday!) The lighting isn’t great, but I tried to make do!

The Miller Family

Miller Family

This was actually a special commission (I don’t offer this size anymore) of a 16×20″ painting. I had a lot of fun working this big, and my friend was gracious enough to send me a couple photos of the painting framed hanging up in her in-law’s house!

Rocky

This painting was for an old coworker of his mom and their late dog, Rocky. I had a lot of fun capturing the leaves and trees on their hike. It was a challenge to capture all the detail I could in a 5×7 painting, but I’m really happy with how it came out!

Sam

Sam

This commission was for my boyfriend’s sister-in-law of her dad’s dog, Sam. I’m lucky enough to have met Sam, and he’s such a great pup! She asked for the setting of the painting to be changed to a particular bed of lily flowers that holds a lot of meaning, so I was really happy to help piece this painting together for her dad’s birthday.
